The producers of the film have sold the Tamil satellite rights to Jaya TV for an undisclosed, but a huge sum of money.
Jaya TV has scooped the television rights of Tamil language for the Rajinikanth starrer action-adventure film, Kochadaiyaan.

Eros International Media and Mediaone Global Entertainment have sold the Telugu rights of the film to Hyderabad-based Lakshmi Ganapathy Films.
With Soundarya R Ashwin’s maiden attempt at direction and K S Ravikumar donning the advisor’s cap, 'Kochadaiyaan' is said to be the first Tamil film to be made used the motion-capture technology. The unit returned from London more than a couple of months ago after shooting important scenes using the technology,
the film stars Deepika Padukone Jackie Shroff, Sharat Kumar, Nazzar, Shobana, Aadi and Rukmani.

We are delighted to have Jaya TV on board for the Tamil satellite rights. We will also be releasing a separate Hindi version along with the Tamil version.”
