MTV beats CSN to win Olympic rights 

MTV of Capital Maharaja has overcome competition from CSN to win Sri Lanka’s telecasting rights for the July Olympics in London.

In the past, all Olympic events were telecast by Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation.
CSN had written to SLRC, seeking free and equal telecasting rights.

According to reports, Capital Maharaja has paid a massive sum to obtain the telecasting rights.
