VIJAY TV LAUNCHES KITCHEN SUPER STARS
Vijay TV launches the first ever biggest cookery clash in the history of Tamil Television Kitchen Super Stars on 07 October 2012, at 1930 hrs that brings in intrinsic flavors of food that celebrates famous people who make fabulous food.
Kitchen Super Stars is just not another cookery show but it would be a cultural phenomenon that would be emotion packed with cut throat competition amongst celebrities. Twelve members in a team from different fields are united by one dream of becoming the Kitchen Super Star.
THE CONCEPT:
The most popular faces of Tamil film industry and television industry like actors Siva, Ilavarasan, Priya, Nethran, Pooja, Sandhya, Arthi, Sparna, Nisha, Preetha, J. Lalitha Aravind along with actor Suresh join hands on the show. These celebrity cooks now have a once in a lifetime opportunity to cook to their heart’s content and exhibit their passion.
Each week, contestants are put through varied challenges where they compete head on to impress the judges and move on to the next level. The Kitchen Super Stars show would be a nerve-racking challenge based on task, time, taste, temperament and so on. The interesting judging panel would comprise of two most popular chefs; Sanjeev Kapoor and chef Dhamodhar.
These chefs would make a special appearance on the show to judge and also would conduct a cookery workshop for the contestants. They are on the show to provide a range of quick two minute recipes as well.
The competitive round on Kitchen Super Stars are; western veggies round, suspense box challenge, team up challenge, left over challenge, variation cooking, non matched combo, international flavoring and so on.
Among the competitors four finalist will put their mind, heart & soul together for one last time to make the most exquisite delicacy to win the coveted title and grand prize of Rupees ten lacs, the biggest ever prize money for a cookery show.
